Merchant Solutions Technology

The Merchant Solutions Technology group provides the Corporate Bank with a dedicated team that capitalizes on the rapidly evolving technology industry to provide our clients new products and innovation to meet their growing needs within an Agile FinTech-like setup. We deliver innovative products such as our Digital Payment Gateway (creating an API based solution allowing Marketplaces and Merchant to streamline their payment processing and settlement activities). As part of our new data team at the Berlin Tech Hub you will work closely with our business stakeholders and product managers in an agile environment to address business intelligence needs in the areas of anti-financial crime, risk management and product development for Merchant Solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Support and document agile tribe wide processes (planning, sprint co-ordination, ceremonies etc), executed in coordination with Technology Leads and Product Managers

• Support and execution of program and project management tasks, e.g .: project initiation, budget and timeline estimates, project progress monitoring, status reports

• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones

• Enhancing the existing Agile culture of the tribe combining training and collaboration alongside processes and tools, to push the tribe further alongs its Agile transformation and delivery model.

• Learn, grow and develop as a person and engineer

Your skills and experiences

• You currently study in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Innovation and Technology or similar

• You are familiar with Agile and Lean practices (e.g. Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe) or other Agile delivery processes / tools within a strategic delivery environment.

• Mental flexibility and resilience, analytical, structured as well as solution-oriented thinking, highly self-motivated and independent as well as fast comprehension skill

• Knowledge of MS Excel (especially Pivot) and MS PowerPoint (especially strong conceptual and presentation skills as well as slide deck creation i.e. story lining, layout, etc.)

• You are passionate about working for a global player in the world of finance

• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; German language knowledge would be a plus.
