- Perform regular vulnerability scans using tools such as Holm Security or Tenable, ensuring accurate and comprehensive assessments
- Analyze scan results to assess potential risks and prioritize remediation based on severity and business impact
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement long-term preventive measures
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of assets and their associated vulnerabilities
- Assist in configuring, managing, and updating vulnerability management platforms
- Support the development and implementation of processes to streamline vulnerability management activities
- Provide basic security awareness guidance to teams based on common vulnerability trends
Must haves:
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networking (TCP/IP), and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Exposure to IT helpdesk support or similar roles, with a focus on troubleshooting and organization
- Fundamental knowledge of IT security concepts, such as vulnerabilities, patches, and threat vectors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate technical information effectively
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A genuine passion for cybersecurity and a willingness to continuously learn and improve
- Very good English and German skills (C1)
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus
Things to know before departure:
- Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
- Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
