Position Overview

We are looking for a Programme Manager / Business Analyst to be based in Frankfurt with a background in front office business change delivery particularly in the Treasury space to support a substantial CTB (change the bank) book of work.  The candidate will initially support the Treasury Markets and Investment (TMI)- Securitisation project.  The PM/BA will be responsible for assisting in defining project scope and deliverables which support business goals and ensuring F2B stakeholder collaboration and optimisation.  In this role you will be responsible for the whole lifecycle of the project from planning, scope, governance through to testing and implementation and supporting any business analysis activities.  In particular, capabilities to be able to structure transactions across product suite contributing to the banks Unfunded Contingent Collateral, RWA relief and adherence to regulatory compliance.

 

Treasury Change is part of the Group Strategic Analytics function within the Group COO division. The Treasury Change function oversees strategy, first line control, regulatory engagement, investment governance and change management for the Treasury organization.

The Treasury function is responsible for the sourcing, management and optimisation of liquidity and capital to deliver high-value risk management decisions. This is underpinned by a best-in-class risk framework that enables Treasury to identify the Bank’s resource demands, set incentives by allocating resource costs to businesses and manage to evolving regulation.

Treasury’s mandate, which encompasses the Bank’s funding strategy, Asset and Liability management (ALM) and management of liquidity reserves, supports businesses in delivering on their strategic targets at global and local level. Treasury manages the optimization of all financial resources to implement the group’s strategic objective and maximize long-term return on shareholders’ equity.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects or workstreams within a larger programme with a focus on supporting the end-to-end delivery of the project within Treasury and relevant ad-hoc requests from planning to execution and closure

  • Develop and define project governance with key stakeholders, managing all project aspects including but not limited to developing implementation plans, scope, impact analysis, identifying / mitigating risks and escalating issues to drive resolution

  • Responsible for active stakeholder engagement by ensuring a close collaboration with key stakeholders across DB and by working closely with SMEs (e.g. product specialists) to collect, balance and prioritize business requirements

  • Refine business requirements with subject matter experts and work collaboratively with IT delivery partners to propose solutions and phasing of deliveries

 

Your Skills and Experiences:

  • Several years of experience in project and/or change management in financial industry or banking sector

  • Strong knowledge, understanding and professional experience in financial markets & treasury products are mandatory!

  • Familiarity and understanding of trading desk technology, trade lifecycle functions, Front Office risk and portfolio management within large institutions

  • Proven experience and understanding leading a complex project day to day across multiple locations/countries or multiple asset classes (Experience with Issuance products a plus)

  • Ability to effectively communicate with trading, quant, operations, and finance teams to deliver results and the ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge at a variety of levels

  • Experience working across regions, especially with offshore technology teams

  • Proficient in English (spoken and written), German language skills beneficial
