The DESY theory group pursues a vigorous research program in the investigation of the fundamental interactions of nature and the fabric of matter, space and time. Research topics include collider phenomenology, particle cosmology, string theory and mathematical physics.
- Engangement in research in string theory/mathematical physics and its connection to gauge theory and integrability at an internationally competitive level
- Participation in the research activities of the DESY theory group
- Participation in the research activities of the ERG CoG Exact Results from Broken Symmetries. In particular in AdS/CFT integrability for N=2 SCFTs

- PhD in theoretical physics or mathematics
- International postdoctorial experience
- Outstanding research record and international reputation in the area of string theory/mathematical physics and specifically in AdS/CFT integrability
- lnternationally leading expertise on the solution of elliptic integrable models
