Tableau Developer - Senior Consultant (f/m/d)

As a Tableau Developer:

• you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• you will work with stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare and transform data for visualization, optimize performance, and ensure data security and governance.
• the role involves translating business needs into actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
• your day-to day task will include: Customer Interaction, Monitoring, Dashboard Development, Performance Optimizations, Solution Security and Access, and Database interaction ( data set structuring, transformation, data load, rescheduled refresh, etc.)

Technical Skills

• Tableau Desktop & Server – Proficient in creating dashboards, reports, and managing Tableau Server.
• Data Visualization – Expertise in designing interactive and user-friendly dashboards.
• SQL & Database Management – Good knowledge of writing SQL queries, joins, and optimizing data sources.
• Performance Optimization – Ability to enhance dashboard performance through data source tuning and calculations.
• Calculated Fields & LOD Expressions – Skilled in using advanced calculations, parameters, and Level of Detail (LOD) expressions.
• Data Security & Governance – Knowledge of row-level security, permissions, and best practices for data governance.
• Version Control & Deployment – Understanding of Tableau versioning, publishing, and deployment best practices.

• Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues and solve problems creatively and efficiently.
