In today's interconnected world, the protection of critical infrastructure is crucial to a country's economic stability and social well-being. Our institute is dedicated to developing innovative concepts and cutting-edge technologies to protect critical maritime infrastructures. The Methods and Processing research group is looking for bright minds who are enthusiastic about innovative technologies and research. If you like hands-on work and tinkering is your thing, then help us develop new concepts for securing maritime infrastructures. In your Master's thesis, you will not only acquire theoretical knowledge, but also actively work on the development, construction and commissioning of experiments. The centrepiece is the co-design and testing of an experiment for the 3D reconstruction of maritime objects. You will be part of a dedicated team and together implement a virtual version of the experimental setup to verify experimental parameters and quantify the performance of the system in a real environment.
