We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to join our Fire TV Experience team in Berlin. In this role, you will spearhead the vision and strategy for advancing our setup experience.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of what makes a great customer experience and how innovative technology can help achieve that. They should be comfortable with ambiguity, adept at defining concrete strategies from broad concepts, and skilled in successful execution. We value data-driven decision-making, continuous learning, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the definition and execution strategy for improving the Fire TV device setup experience, focusing on streamlining the onboarding process and enabling seamless customization.
- Develop and articulate a roadmap for setup capabilities, balancing near-term usability improvements with long-term innovations.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to inform product decisions and measure success, with a focus on reducing friction and increasing user satisfaction during initial setup.
- Collaborate with internal experts and teams including UX, engineering, advertising, and senior leadership to align on strategy and execution.
- Define project requirements, priorities, and success metrics, and oversee their implementation and performance.
- Communicate project status, strategy, risks, and issues to senior management effectively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver setup experiences that delight customers from their very first interaction with Fire TV.
- 5+ years of professional experience of consumer facing software product management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
- Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules
- MBA or Master’s degree
- Experience delivering solutions enabling customers to discover, install, and manage mobile apps and/or services.
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
