This job can be based in any of the main EU corporate offices (Paris, London, Manchester, Munich, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Luxembourg, Amsterdam).
Do you want to build the tools that will transform how we help AVS vendors grow faster on Amazon? Does the intersection of retail and technology excite you? Let's chat! We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and data-oriented Sr. Product Manager-Tech AVS within the AVS EU Central Team to define our tooling roadmap to deliver actionable insights that help vendors build effective growth strategies in and outside of Amazon.
The product: We have started the journey of building growth insights that will provide AVS vendors with a modular set of industry-leading insights, tech solutions and delivery support that will help them build their long-term Amazon growth strategies, ultimately driving vendor satisfaction and incremental business impact. We have the ambition to evolve from Quicksight dashboards to scalable and user-friendly solutions that pro-actively guide users to take optimal actions and that can be plugged into internal account management tools (e.g. Salesforce) as much as into vendor facing portals (Vendor Central). Our goal is to revolutionize the way our internal teams and vendors consume insights. We want to leverage Data Science, Business Intelligence, Gen AI and LLM models to analyze Retail data and surface actionable insights and recommendations that make our teams more efficient and decrease time-to-market for vendor innovations, thus supporting our program’s mission to drive growth for AVS vendors. Examples include customer behavior and preferences, new product opportunities, industry and category insights.
The team: The EU AVS program aims to provide an industry leading account management service at the optimal cost-to-serve for Amazon that exceeds vendors’ expectations and expedites their growth on Amazon; working to deliver the principle that “vendors would be irresponsible not to sign up to and stay on AVS”.
The core program strategy has remained consistent since launch around the following five-pillar model;
(#1) PROGRAM EXPANSION through a compelling AVS Offer, Pricing & Delivery Model.
(#2) PRODUCTIVITY to increase efficiencies and lower the program’s cost-to-serve.
(#3) AVS VENDOR SATISFACTION through New Service launches and resolution of vendor pain points.
(#4) AVS BUSINESS IMPACT improvements to expedite vendors growth on Amazon.
(#5) PEOPLE by recruiting talented, motivated individuals and then develop them.
The role: We are looking for a passionate Sr. Product Manager - Technical to own and drive products within the New Services pillar of the EU AVS Central Team. You will work with global stakeholders across tech teams (i.e. Business Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science), central teams and retail teams to define requirements and gain alignment to deliver a seamless product experience for your modules. You will set the vision and build solutions from scratch. This requires alternating between big picture thinking and obsessing with the details, identifying risks, and being a true product owner. As the right candidate, you excel at handling ambiguity and bring strong bias for action. You have the ability to use data to inform strategies and create new solutions that work backwards from vendor/customer needs. Being able to earn trust of others and develop strong partnerships with teams from multiple orgs is a must. You have a strong track-record working with engineers, and you routinely earn the respect of your technical peers through your ability to grasp technical challenges and trade-offs.
