RESPONSIBILITIES

We develop holistic solutions for our customers from an end-to-end perspective, taking into account dependencies and important interfaces between different functions. Services at global, regional and country level are distributed across various locations.

  • You are responsible for process design, further development, optimization and roll-out of dangerous goods applications in the Global Master System.
  • You maintain all data relevant to dangerous goods in the global master data system, including evaluations and adjustments.
  • System development for SAP S/4 HANA as part of projects is also a key part of your role.
  • In addition, you are responsible for global communication and consulting, including analysis and interpretation of international dangerous goods regulations and implementation in the master data systems.
  • You are also responsible for the maintenance and further development of dangerous goods checks in the OTC and TM process in the BASF SAP landscape, the dangerous goods information in logistics processes for logistics service providers and the dangerous goods-relevant information in safety data sheets.
  • Active participation in projects in the SAP S/4 HANA environment and optional coordination of projects for the implementation of complex legal requirements round off your role.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • degree in natural sciences or relevant experience in the field of supply chain operations with reference to dangerous goods logistics.
  • experience in the design and development of IT solutions as well as confident handling of SAP applications
  • knowledge of dangerous goods, regulation / compliance as well as OTC, TM and P2P is desirable
  • several years of professional and project experience is an advantage
  • confident communication in an international environment
