Site HSE Head ICF (Insulins Campus Frankfurt) m/f/d Frankfurt am Main Vollzeit R2588277 The Gen Med Cluster Insulins Team is committed to setting world-class standards to enable Diabetes patients globally to improve their lives, by providing innovative and affordable solutions. Located in the Industriepark Höchst, the Insulins Campus Frankfurt (ICF) Site is a recent merger of four Sanofi manufacturing sites comprising around 3600 employees and 10 buildings. Products : Full Insulin range, legacy Pharma products, Oncology and Biologics (packaging), monoclonal antibodies (device assembly and packaging) Technologies : API production via fermentation, sterile filling, device assembly, packaging, special form (e.g. powder coating, creams, ointments, implants, microparticles) Transformation : This position requires in addition to the technical skills profound change management expertise to lead the recently started transformation journey of the site. About this Opportunity Reporting directly to the Site Head, as a critical leader for Sanofi, you will have responsibility for the leadership and management of our Health, Safety, Environmental and Security functions, all of which are vitally important to our site and Sanofi more widely. You will lead the deployment strategy to ensure a safe, healthy and accident-free workplace for all employees and contractors. Leading the site-based HSE team, you will champion a positive and proactive safety culture. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance and full implementation at ICF Site of corporate HSE programs as well as helping achieve site strategic objectives as part of the wider leadership team. Key Accountabilities Provide strategic leadership to the site regarding all aspects of Health Safety, Environment. Ensure the implementation of the Health Safety Environmental strategy and program. Ensure regulatory compliance with all HSE legislation and corporate standards and ensure any risks are identified and managed through the site risk register. Champion and positively influence a self-sustaining HSE Culture and collaborate with Leaders to enhance the culture. Lead Site and Corporate Environmental program including environmental risks such as waste management, air emissions, wastewater and carbon footprint. Support and develop the energy saving programs and implement them accordingly. Co-ordinate the site HSE Management review meetings with Site Leadership Team. Ensure the HSE team has the correct skills and competencies to manage the risk profile of the site; implement continued professional development plans; facilitate career progression potential. Prepare HSE investments and expenses budget. Implement projects accordingly. Ensure adequate Emergency Response and Crisis Management plans are in place for associated risks. Additional information about key accountabilities are defined in the detailed job description About you Your Education & Experience Bachelor or Master degree in a Health Safety, Environmental or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years Leadership experience, preferably in HSE at an industrial site (Pharma/Chemistry or food is preferred). In depth knowledge of HSE legal and regulatory aspects. Familiar with HSE management system: ISO 14001, 50001 and ISO 45000. Proven ability to support the delivery of tasks in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Experience in hosting of regulatory and corporate inspections. Your Language Skills German speaking required as main vehicle for site management English speaking required as main vehicle (written & verbal) Your Competencies Experience of team management. Ability to work in international environment. Ability to work in matrix organization Ability for holistic thinking about HSE topics. Strong communication skills.
