Trade Finance and Lending

Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is core and one of leading business departments in Corporate Bank working with clients around the globe. Trade Finance is a set of techniques aimed at mitigating and transferring trade risks to the financial sector, and/or using bank funding to enable domestic and international trade flows. Trade finance focuses on supporting the physical flow of goods across borders while primarily using the goods, receivables and cash generated from the trade as the principal security.

The group is working on technology refresh of their IT platform to enable new services and products for customers as well as to achieve next level of business processes automation and reduce transaction costs.

Would you like to join successful in-house technology team designing, building, and rolling out into production its strategic platform for TF&L business? The architecture covers wide range of capabilities to support global TFL business including but not limited to loan lifecycle management, collateral management, related integrations with Cash, Treasury, Risk, and Finance landscape.

As a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) you will contribute into all aspects of in-house developed platform delivery: work on enhancing CI/CD pipelines to increase product quality, system reliability and level of automation, monitoring tools, develop infrastructure and configuration management tools, assist on automation and release deployment. We are looking for engineers with strong design and coding skills, team players, motivated and self-driven.

Your key responsibilities

• Design & implement automated deployment pipelines, and rework existing deployment solutions to the target state

• Work on SRE tools, design and implement monitoring and observability solutions

• Work with development teams to bring the solutions to the required state for automating deployment/recovery/observability

• Ensure deployment/monitoring solutions are compliant with the Bank standards for SDLC

• Ensure the quality and availability of production assets by designing resilient applications, predicting and managing risks, monitoring, and operating in production

• Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams on Production releases; Ensure system stability through enhancement/maintenance periods

• Increase release frequency through supporting and improving tools for continuous build, automated testing and self service release management while continuously evaluating and improving existing CI/CD/Test pipelines and processes.

Your skills and experiences

• Several years of working experience in automating deployment, smoke-testing, monitoring, experience setting up SRE tooling

• Solid technical background on servers, storages, networks, databases, software development processes; Knowledge of Messaging, Database solutions, Unix, CI/CD tools (Teamcity is a plus), Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible

• Background in one Software engineering professions – Development, Quality Assurance, DevOps; Ability to write scripts/code (good Bash/Python/Groovy)

• Experience of working with cloud deployment - particularly Google Cloud Platform

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
