RESPONSIBILITIES

In our Platform Solutions Unit, we build industry changing tools to support farmers and share risks with them from seeding to harvesting. We give tailored advise on when is the right timing to act in the field, which products to pick and how to distribute across the fields. As a Senior Software Engineer Web you become a part of our great engineering team working on interesting and extremely technically challenging projects.

• In your new role, you develop the xarvio Field Manager Web client (TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Mapbox), tackling complex problems related to performance, working with a lot of geo-referenced data and integrations with partner systems.
• As a Senior Software Engineer Frontend Web, you design new product features, search for optimal technical solutions and implement them.
• You work with a cross-functional team of engineers, QA, product managers, designers and domain matter experts (agronomists, trial engineers).

QUALIFICATIONS

• university degree in computer sciences, natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, GIS or related fields and several years of professional experience
• several years of knowledge in frontend development experience
• strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React and GraphQL
• deep knowledge in Mapbox or similar mapping libraries is a plus
• excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English
