Senior Program Manager, AFP

Stellen-ID: 2778277 | Amazon EU SARL (Germany Branch)

BESCHREIBUNG

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a rapidly growing, global operation unit, which significantly impacts the customer experience.
Within ATS, Amazon Freight Partner is a new program that enables entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon, with exclusive and customized learning, ability to hire from their local communities, and long-term growth potential.
The Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) team is seeking candidates with entrepreneurial spirit who are quick learners and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to help us continuously improve and optimize our internal AFP Change Management process, generating efficiencies through processes and metrics.

This position is based out of our Berlin Corporate Office. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements.

Key job responsibilities
- Own and align the EU AFP Change Management process with the NA AFP and EU ATS initiatives to ensure a cohesive approach.
- Leverage data and research to devise innovative solutions that drive improvements across the organization.
- Analyze business operations strategically, identify optimization opportunities, and lead enhancements that create value.
- Partner with senior leadership to establish, prioritize, and execute high-impact improvement programs.
- Design, implement, and monitor metrics to track progress, identify issues, and maintain appropriate governance.
- Align and collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders, conducting in-depth analyses to understand key factors.

A day in the life
As Senior Program Manager, you will drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change initiatives that improve Amazon's operations. Address complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership, contributing to improvements beyond just process enhancements.

Work cross-functionally to gain a global perspective on current operations and identify opportunities for improvement, leveraging data and technology. Align and enable a single source of information, establish governance mechanisms, and conduct deep-dive analyses to understand key influencing factors. Make business-critical decisions that transform the transportation environment and influence senior leadership on the direction of the Middle Mile business.

Collaborate with teams across Operations, Program Development, Global Tech, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Carrier Management, and Network Planning to develop transformative initiatives. Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and ambiguity-management skills, with a focus on delighting customers.
