We are a leading company in the field of ULD management (Unit Load Devices) and manage a globally connected fleet of ULDs. Our goal is to provide our customers with 100% availability and maximum efficiency in ULD management through cutting-edge IT solutions and innovative approaches.

This position reports to the Team Lead IT Innovation & Product Development in Raunheim. In addition to being required to lead and manage IT projects from development to implementation these are some but not all of the tasks the successful applicant will be required to undertake:

  • Develop innovative solution, concepts and specific recommendations for action as well as contributing to the creation and implementation of the innovation roadmap
  • Monitor and analyse the market for new technologies, trends, methods, and processes
  • Analyse processes and business ideas
  • Design and define target architecture and solution approaches based on current technologies and methods, in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Lead the further development of parts of the application landscape and IT product management

To become a shortlisted candidate, please ensure that in addition to being a great Team Player, that you are able to fulfil the following requirements of this role:

  • Completed university degree relevant to the role or equivalent qualifications through relevant training and professional experience
  • Relevant professional experience, preferably in IT Innovation and/or IT Product Development
  • Good knowledge of operational processes in cargo airlines, logistics service providers, or similar organizations is advantageous
  • Knowledge of UX design and (big) data analytics is desirable
  • Experience with agile methodologies is preferred
  • Confident and representative appearance, persuasive and assertive skills
  • Excellent intercultural and communication skills, including negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong planning, coordination, and decision-making ability
  • High level of self-responsibility and self-discipline
  • Excellent German & English skills
  • Willingness to travel
