Our company has been operating in Hungary since 1997 as a member of the international Pepperl + Fuchs group. At our Veszprém site, more than 400 employees are engaged in the production and sale of plastic parts and cable assemblies.
We are looking for a dedicated employee to strengthening our Global Lean Management team in Veszprém, Hungary for the following position:
Senior Lean Consultant in Veszprém
Tasks
- Promote Continuous Improvement Culture and implement Global Lean Management (GLM) Approach in Pepperl+Fuchs organization
- Contribute to Global Lean Management System enhancement and maintenance, such as development and improvements on Lean related standards, approaches, procedures, Training materials
- Lead, facilitate or provide Lean consultation & necessary training on any Continuous Improvement initiatives/projects. And as a Project Leader/Manager, ensure Projects/activities meet the agreed targets, budget, resources requirements, milestones and timelines.
- Setting up assembly flow lines, segment value streams
- Carry out SMED workshops and define changeover strategies to reduce changeover times
- Setting up Kanban Supermarkets
- Be “Sparring” Partner for Operational Leaders and higher Management in identifying potentials for any improvements, provide Lean consultation on Continuous Improvement Initiatives/projects. And provide constructive feedback if there is any deviation from agreed directions.
- Be a Mentor/Coach to junior staffs in GLM in handling any Lean related activities
Professional Expectations
- Bachelor, Master or Diploma degree in Electronics/Mechanical, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Technology, Business Administration or comparable qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Lean professional experience in operational process management and/or Manufacturing operations, in an internationally operating industrial, with proven successes in optimizing Production Operations and/or Business processes
- Minimum 7 years working experience with some years of experience in leading/supervising project teams
- Experience in transferring and applying Lean knowledge to all areas of the company
- Extensive knowledge about the Lean fundamentals and methodologies
- Experience in SMED projects with proven record of C/O reductions (particularly of injection molding machines)
- Experience in design of assembly flow lines
- Experience in Change Management
