Your Role:
- You create concepts and detailed designs, define, develop and install electrical systems and components while working in close collaboration with an engaged and supportive team.
- You analyze the requirements, capabilities and performance of new and existing products to deliver innovative solutions for the aerospace sector.
- You verify the compliance of the requirements and apply relevant industrial standards.
- You create detailed multi-view drawings, including diagrams, looms, harnesses, routing, and electrical installations, to turn visionary concepts into practical applications for next-generation aerospace projects.
- You work together with the customer and communicate with them regarding technical decisions and work progress and act as a coach for junior engineers to support team development and create a culture of learning and collaboration.
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed bachelor’s or master's degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ work experience in the aerospace industry with focus on EWIS, wiring diagrams or harness design, combined with extensive knowledge of aerospace processes, requirements, methods and a dedication to contributing to team success through your expertise.
- Good knowledge of electrical CAD (Catia V5/SEE Electrical/Mentor, Capital Logic), experience with 3DX is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement - we look forward to encouraging you in new areas.
- Fluent in German and/or English, both written and spoken with the ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented and inclusive setting.
- Possession of the nationality of a NATO member state is a mandatory requirement.
