YOUR ROLE
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions in accordance with best practices
- Prototype new cloud features on our internal developer platforms using IAC and latest development frameworks
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate new cloud applications such as IOT, AI and e-commerce
- Improve and overlook operational stability of the automation in CI/CD together with Site-Reliability-Engineers
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and SRE’s
- Continuous improvement of architecture in scope of Platform teams, together with IT Architects
- Manage and optimizing cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability with the FinOps functions
- Implement and maintain security features to protect cloud environments and data as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Open Shift, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts
- Good experience with automation tools, infra-as-code and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform, C#, Go, Gitlab)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Fluent in English, German is beneficial
