Commercial Banking Tribe

You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.

We are on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. We are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and we are collaborating with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

As a Scrum Master (m/f/x) you will work across two of our Sales Squads and actively live and promote agile thinking and culture as well as enable the team to work as efficiently as possible by removing obstacles and distractions.

Your key responsibilities

  • You are Scrum Master for two of our Sales Squads, both being cross functional agile teams working on implementing end-to-end online sales processes for small and medium corporates.

  • You facilitate Scrum ceremonies and closely collaborate with all Squad team members to ensure that a healthy prioritized product backlog is maintained, and Tribe and Squad goals are understood by everyone in the Squad.

  • You help the Squad to continuously improve the effectiveness of their incremental delivery of value to clients and stakeholders. Furthermore, you identify inefficiencies in the Squad operation and remove impediments to the Squad's progress.

  • You live and promote an agile mindset and culture within the Tribe. You act as a coach and facilitator within the team for self-organisation and cross-functionality – and deliver agile trainings within your Squads on demand.

  • You create physiologically safe environments for teams, enabling them to own their outcomes, surface dependencies & risks and escalate in a timely manner.

Your skills and experiences

  • You have several years of experience working in agile environments and applying agile methodologies and frameworks in practice (Scrum, Kanban), ideally in a scaled agile environment.

  • You have at least one year of experience working as a Scrum Master for one or several Scrum teams.

  • You are used to proactively structure and manage your workload and have very good organizational, communication and conflict management skills.

  • You have strong motivational skills and practical experience in coaching others to continuously improve in their job.

  • You are a very good team player and are used to collaborate with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds and seniority levels. Furthermore, you can communicate fluently in English, German is a Plus.
