WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Within our unit Environmental Fate and Structure Elucidation, you will join a highly dedicated, international and passionate team. We conduct regulatory studies and strategies  for our global pesticide project.

  • As a lab leader in Environmental Fate you lead a highly qualified environmental chemistry lab with 3-5 lab technicians.
  • You plan and conduct metabolism studies and investigate the environmental behavior of pesticides. 
  • The studies are conducted under GLP and are used for the global registration of pesticides.
  • Your responsibility as a lab leader includes personnel responsibilities, lab safety, objective setting, career planning and skill development.
  • As a member of our pesticides project teams you are responsible for the timely preparation of dossiers, risk assessments and authority requests.
  • You also develop, communicate and implement regulatory science strategies and defend these strategies towards internal project partners and authorities.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • master's degree in chemistry or analytical chemistry along with first relevant professional experience including project management
  • in depth knowledge of product safety, regulatory compliance and scientific work
  • familiar with relevant analytical methods and technologies
  • experience in working with radioisotopes is an advantage 
  • strong communication, presentation as well as interpersonal skills in English
  • proactive and like working in interdisciplinary teams
