  • Managing applications and services within the landscape with focus on SAP ERP FI/CO and S/4 HANA Finance
  • Ensuring a smooth operation of the Finance IT applications in cooperation with IT team members in Germany and the contracted service providers
  • Supporting and consulting of internal company business units and customers in the company group in IT-related issues in the field of Finance
  • Designing and implementing new applications within the Finance IT landscape
  • Monitoring interfaces and automated processes regarding integrity, performance and optimal usage
  • Customizing the supported applications
  • Acting as product manager for selected IT applications, including budget and controlling functions
  • Managing the lifecycle of IT products and ensuring alignment to IT strategy and IT architecture guidelines
  • Managing projects in the field of Finance IT (e.g. international roll-out of solutions, IT harmonization projects)
  • Supporting customer projects and internal projects

*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

  • Min. 3 years of practical experience in supporting and managing SAP applications in the FI environment
  • SAP FI (AP, AR, GL, FI-AA, etc.) must have; preferably also adjacent SAP modules (e.g. CO)
  • Expertise in customizing and conceptual design of SAP solutions
  • Good understanding of financial data flows and processes
  • IT demand management, process management and service management experience
  • IT Infrastructure experience
  • Project management skills
  • ITIL skills
  • Very good command of English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Planning and organizational talent
  • Analytical skills and accuracy, problem solving competence
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and to pick up new topics
