We as Global Digital Services enable BASF’s digitalization. In agile teams, we develop innovative digital solutions for BASF and its customers, create new exciting customer experiences and business growth, and drive efficiencies in processes. We provide IT that works and offer know-how and access to latest technologies in the areas of cloud computing, blockchain or big data.
Our Environmental Compliance product team is responsible for the end-2-end DevOps lifecycle for SAP-based solutions for labelling dangerous goods, hazardous substances, waste, product safety and environmental protection to ensure compliance and a license for BASF to operate in global markets.
- In your new role, you will be part of an agile product team, taking charge of designs, estimations and ongoing activities of the SAP labelling process, delivering solutions for our users.
- You will drive the implementation and rollout of a new labelling solution, which is connected to both Cobalt and SAP S/4 instances.
- Further, you will cultivate positive relationships, collaborating with other Product Family, Teams and stakeholders from various divisions to enhance and better integrate our labelling solutions into processes such as production, warehouse management and logistics.
- In addition, you will apply your skills in requirements engineering, design, development, and configuration to build and operate high-quality components and solutions.
- Not least, you will broaden your skills in other areas of the product team’s portfolio in the coming years to aid our operational divisions in maintaining efficient processes that comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
- minimum of 6 years of professional experience working with SAP modules (especially EHS) and a good understanding of system background
- at least 3 years of in-depth DevOps experience in function design, SAP ABAP development, configuration, and testing
- ability to work in a multicultural and virtual environment within an agile framework
- customer focused approach to troubleshooting, reason and resolve problems
- familiarity with agile methodologies
- demonstrated willingness and ability to welcome and drive change, coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit
- excellent German and English skills
