The Sales Manager Engine Services is responsible for:

  • Lead sales projects, including contract negotiations for technical products, aligning with Corporate Sales and Segment targets
  • Manage sales projects independently, acquire new customers, and foster customer loyalty
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, business plans, and risk assessments for all service components, especially Engine Maintenance Services
  • Conduct risk analyses, evaluate risk profiles, and support segment risk management
  • Coordinate internal approval processes with Controlling, Legal, and Finance; present to the Executive Board if needed
  • Advise segment and department management on sales risks and alternative strategies
  • Represent Lufthansa Technik at trade shows and customer visits independently or with Corporate Sales

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:

  • University degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in MRO
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of an Asian language or German is a plus
  • Strong intercultural competency and deep understanding of Asian cultures
  • Exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong character with the ability to develop and drive business relationships
  • Eager to grow through challenges in day-to-day work
  • Willing to travel extensively within Asia and to Germany
