At our site in Prague we are looking for
Safety System Engineer
Your tasks
• Functional safety designs for rail vehicles
• Identification and classification of hazards (e.g. using HAZID, FMECA)
• Selection of risk acceptance assessment methods
• Definitions of safety functions, requirements for board systems, checks and tests
• Preparation of documentation reflecting proofs of safety and records of compliance (e.g. system definition, hazard log, validation report)
• Compliance evidence through FTA using the ITEM toolkit
• Reliability calculations
• Cooperation with colleagues and authorized partners in the Czech Republic and abroad
Your profile
• University degree in technology, knowledge of the field of rolling stock recommended
• Knowledge of functional safety - CSM (Regulation No. 402/2013) or RAMS (as per EN 50126, EN 50129), or EN 61508, IEC 61513.
• German/English at communication level
• Communicative person
• Willing to learn new things and processes
• Precise, detail-oriented work
