We are looking for a Risk Manager for a key customer trust feature available in Amazon stores worldwide. This feature makes it easy for shoppers to alert Amazon about issues on our product pages. The Risk Manager role involves interacting with multiple internal and external partner teams, including Program, Product, Operations, and Legal, and be the advocate for those teams in driving changes to our product.
Key job responsibilities
• Defining strategies and owning the delivery of multiple projects, taking ownership to monitor their progress against key milestones
• Leveraging a combination of data analysis skills, critical thinking and collaboration to clarify highly ambiguous problems and present tangible solution in an easy to understand format for leadership teams
• Develop scalable mechanisms to report regular updates on projects within your ownership to key stakeholders, to ensure alignment is maintained across various WW teams
• Partnering with our product team and partner teams to understand policy and process gaps, and developing solutions to close them

- Identifying root causes by obtaining/analyzing data and reviewing the current processes
- Reaching out to existing and new partner teams for collaboration
- Collaborating with policy, product and tech teams to implement needed changes

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
