Our global unit Application Technology & Delivery Optimization focuses on the formulation optimization of crop protection products. Among other things, we work on technical aspects related to adjuvanting to improve the efficacy and applicability of our products.

• As a Research Scientist in the field of product optimization, you work in a scientifically interdisciplinary field and are responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of laboratory studies with a focus on active ingredient distribution and uptake of crop protection products.
• This includes taking the lead in internal research and development projects and interacting in a global environment.
• Based on practice-oriented studies, you support new product developments, develop product recommendations and contribute to the effective implementation of future market and research developments.
• Furthermore, you coordinate cross-team projects and optimize laboratory processes with regard to the digitalization of workflows.
• You also further develop existing methods and implement new methods according to the current state of the art.
• In order to develop into an expert in the field of product optimization on a medium to long-term basis, you work closely with various scientific disciplines in our global R&D organization.

• PhD in agricultural sciences or a comparable discipline (e.g. biology, chemistry)
• first relevant professional experience, ideally also in project management
• familiar with processes and technologies in research and development laboratories
• sound knowledge of plant protection and plant physiology
• very good communication skills in German and English
• joy in experimental work along with an innovative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a global team
