WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In this position, you are part of a highly motivated and agile global team that develops innovative digital solutions for marketing and sales within the Global Automotive OEM Coatings business The digitalization of internal processes is a key pillar of our digital strategy, and as a product owner in our unit, you play a crucial role in that endeavor. Additionally, our efforts to digitalize interactions with external customers are equally important, ensuring a seamless and integrated experience for all stakeholders.

  • As a Product Owner, you manage the definition, development, and deployment of innovative digital solutions while ensuring high-quality work and service to customers.
  • Furthermore, you facilitate strong communication with stakeholders and the development team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery as the Regional Product Owner.
  • Additionally, executing the digital product roadmap includes identifying and validating new features as well as modules with internal teams.
  • Moreover, you collaborate with the development team to ensure Go-Live readiness, including UAT, user training, and risk management.
  • In addition, you define the roll-out plan at customer sites, ensuring implementation and regular communication of project status to all parties involved.
  • Lastly, managing customer expectations involves collecting feedback and creating user-centric stories to continuously improve features, while also identifying project risks and proposing solutions.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • university degree in a technical, engineering, or business-related field is required
  • several years of experience in the automotive industry, combined with expertise in project management and quality assurance, are necessary, with a PMP certification considered an advantage
  • familiarity with digital or IT environments, along with coatings business and manufacturing technical know-how
  • strong user or customer-centric skills, with experience conducting interviews and face-to-customer interactions, are important
  • proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum, OKR, Kanban) with a self-organized and communicative working style
  • fluent in English and German, with availability for travel (25%) and a flexible, adaptable mindset
