You develop Python-based applications to support electrical engineering systems, with a particular focus on load flow calculations, grid condition assessment and smart grids
You develop and integrate tools for calculating grid loads and analyzing grid status, which contribute to the optimization of energy networks and smart grid infrastructures
You model and simulate complex electrotechnical systems, including load flow calculations, to ensure the stability and efficiency of energy systems
You automate the calculation processes and develop solutions for real-time monitoring and optimization of smart grids and distribution networks
You use Python to process and analyze large amounts of data from the energy networks and convert it into easy-to-understand visualizations to enable informed decisions
You implement automated tests to ensure the accuracy and reliability of your calculations and analyses and continuously improve existing solutions
You have successfully completed a Master's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification with a focus on energy technology or grid systems
You have extensive experience in Python development and are proficient in common Python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas for technical calculations and data analysis
You have practical experience with load flow calculations, grid condition assessment and analyzing grid scenarios to evaluate the efficiency and stability of power grids
You have a deep understanding of smart grids and their specific requirements, especially with regard to the integration of renewable energies and decentralized generation
You have experience with mathematical modeling of electrotechnical systems, e.g. using software such as DIgSILENT, MATLAB/Simulink or other relevant tools
You can efficiently process and visualize large amounts of data from networks and systems to enable informed decisions
You are a real team player who works in interdisciplinary teams and communicates technical content in an understandable and targeted manner
You are fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English
