As a PSS SOLUTION ARCHITECT, I am a key player in delivering impact in digitizing the experience of clients of the Lufthansa Group. I am delivering process improvements and solutions for our teams and take part in our collaborative effort to develop the next era of digitally enhanced travelling.

What I’ll do:

  • I am responsible for taking part in our digital product development, evaluate the current and develop new solutions as a joint effort with the Digital Hangar product teams
  • I provide technical guidance to product owners and make technical decisions and alternatives that contribute to the long-term IT goals of the company
  • I design the solution architectures together with my team and present them to all the management levels in a detailed and goal-oriented manner
  • I work in an international environment with a highly diverse team

A day with us

Hotfixes, release cycles, PI planning...- are part of our everyday life. The difference is that you have the opportunity to design the digital touchpoints for passengers of the Lufthansa Group airlines.Your ideas are transformed into customer-centric high-end IT solutions.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect,
  • Experience with Amadeus PSS is mandatory
  • Experience in front- & back-end software development and understanding of complex, microservice-based architectures in legacy environments
  • Familiar with Java with Spring or comparable, JavaScript with Angular or React
  • Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL Database
  • Experience with a cloud-based platform like Microsoft Azure Cloud and have experience with Kubernetes and Docker and messaging systems like TIBCO and Kafka
  • Experience in creating architectural artifacts (e.g., diagrams)
  • Experience in working in an agile environment
  • Deep understanding of different stakeholders' needs and can provide and communicate different technical solutions to business stakeholders
  • Very good command of English language
