Program Manager - Arts - Corporate Philanthropy

The Corporate Philanthropy Arts team is responsible for managing relationships, programmes, projects and initiatives with artists and cultural institutions across the region, including London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE. This unique cultural space is at the heart of the Bloomberg business, and the local community, offering a comprehensive engagement programme for public, employees and clients. We are looking to hire an experienced program manager with strong project management skills to lead program and engagement activities including visitor engagement, community engagement, public programming, employee volunteering and our award-winning education programme. 

We are a small core team which utilises the skills and expertise from many different contributors and partners internally and externally, so you will need to use your strong collaborative and stakeholder management skills to enable effective interdepartmental working with the wider Corporate Philanthropy team, marketing & communications, visitor experience hosts, events, facilities, and security. 
 
Key responsibilities: 

  • Manage and deliver a wide range of engagement programming and events which reflect Bloomberg’s core values of innovation, sustainability, education, collaboration, diversity and inclusion, and community. 
  • Manage the Education programme, including schools, facilitators, and volunteers. Maintain content and delivery to the highest standards ensuring relevant and accessible to all. 
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to ensure London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE is at the heart of the Bloomberg business and the local community. 
  • Manage and deliver special guest tours of the Bloomberg Building and London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE. 
  • Managing data and reporting systems, included visitor ticketing system to provide accurate data reporting and analysis. 
  • Ensure best practice structures, policies and procedures are maintained and managed throughout the space. 
  • Support on the delivery of internal and external marketing, promotion and communications, including creating digital content for digital channels. 
  • Assisting with the ongoing development and task allocation of a Corporate Philanthropy Apprentice. 
  • Partnering with conservation specialists to ensure care and maintenance of artefacts and historical aspects of the site are managed. 

You'll need to have: 
  • Proven organisation, planning and project management skills with experience of managing a range of projects consecutively. 
  • Event management experience. 
  • A creative and innovative approach with an eye for detail. 
  • The ability to make sound judgements and act with discretion. 
  • Effective collaboration skills, who works well independently and as part of a team. 
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude, who enjoys a challenge, works well under pressure and to deadlines. 

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills with proven stakeholder management experience - enjoying regular interaction with partners at all levels - including the public. 
  • Compiles and delivers compelling presentations and written communications. 
  • Flexibility in terms of approach and hours (evening and weekend event support is required)  
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis, impact reporting and administration. 
  • A strong commitment to equality and diversity, developing audiences through implementing accessible and inclusive practices. 
  • Operational, problem-solving mindset. 

With the following as desirable: 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in program management in a relevant field 
  • Engagement experience 
  • Vendor management experience 
  • Knowledge/interest of the arts and culture and/or heritage sector
