Production IT Engineer

The Production IT Engineer for Aircraft and Engine Components technically ensures a digital, unimpeded, user-centric and cost-efficient process flow for maintenance and repair operations of the start-up of Lufthansa Technik Portugal in accordance with aviation regulations.

Responsibilities and Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Support production in implementing standardized processes and business
  logic into digital solutions for aircraft repairs with the Process Architect and
  project team (maintenance, engineering, etc.)
• Assist in integrating data-driven services into the digital ecosystem, following IT guidelines
• Provide guidance before troubleshooting and support for IT systems (e.g.Enterprise Ressource Planning) and hardware
• Maintain and update dashboards in collaboration with IT providers, aligning with operational needs
• Document changes, assist with user training, and support self-sufficiency
• Analyze processes, contribute to automation efforts, and support continuous improvement
• Support projects with operational and administrative tasks
