Summary:
The Planning Coordinator is responsible for the planning & scheduling of all the manufacturing and service operations withing the facility.
The starting rate for this position is $25.00 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the planning team
- Uses MRP/MPS to create demands for production and purchasing
- Reviews and updates routing and work center data for manufacturing
- Planning and scheduling production based on available machines, personnel, and parts
- Part number/item card/bill of material maintenance
- Collaborates with other departments to achieve desired objectives and realize results
- Understands and complies with Company procedures and work instructions
- Support with continuous improvement efforts of the facility
- Ensures data accuracy is maintained for all MFG & Service Orders
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Process Engineering and/or minimum 3 years’ experience working in Production Planning or Supply Chain in a MFG environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Experience using MRP/MPS to identify production & purchasing requirements
- Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to use interpersonal and organizational skills to work with other Departments to achieve desired results.
- Results driven, always looking to meet/exceed requirements and find opportunities for improvement
- Can analyze system Data to identify trends, confirm accuracy, and develop planning strategies.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Navision or SAP preferred (but not required)
- Accountable for behavior and performance
