- Support customers with:
- Analyzing planning and scheduling requirements while collecting standard business processes with users and operations
- Writing technical specifications
- Configuring the PSI Metals modules and performing ongoing solver tuning
- Implementation, customization, and commissioning of PSI Metals solutions
- Maintenance and upgrade of current implementations
- Train customer key users on their specific PSI Metals planning and scheduling modules
- Work on a collaborative team on one or more projects at a time in all stages of the project lifecycle
- Travel to customer sites periodically to foster customer relationship, perform fit/gap analysis, execute testing along-side the customer’s team, and provide training and support for PSI Metals solutions as part of the Go-Live experience
- Experience in implementing and/or supporting planning and scheduling software solutions in a manufacturing industry
- Driven, independent worker that can adapt to new and existing projects easily
- An effective team player that is comfortable working on multiple projects at once
proficient with many or all of the following software
SQL
Python
Optimization Algorithms
Microsoft suite (excel, word, etc.)
Jira
Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability
Experience in software implementation projects, including analysis, specification, design, configuration, coding, testing and Go-Live
Ability to work as part of a global team within a matrix structure
A well-managed individual with time management and organization skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Software Development/Engineering, or other technical field
- Ability to work in the United States
