RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience in setups and practices used in working on large equipment:

- Set up, disassemble / reassemble, inspect, and repair small, medium, and large paper machine rolls.
- Must have knowledge of repair practices and be able to maintain Voith Paper quality standards in an efficient and safe manner.
- All mechanical tooling, drills, taps, pullers, bearing heaters, presses, hydraulic test unit.

- Familiar with the operation of mechanical assemblies and have knowledge of many different roll types, specifically how this equipment is used in the manufacturing operation of paper machines and related equipment.
- Experience using overhead cranes.

- 100 and 60 Ton

- Must be dependable, having good attendance, and willing to work overtime when required. (Shift work may be required.)
- Must be willing to learn and perform other tasks as necessary.
QUALIFICATION
- Experienced industrial/heavy equipment mechanic OR
- A trainee who exhibits the requirements as detailed under general responsibilities.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma preferred but not required if the experience level, determined by Voith management, off-sets this requirement.
