YOUR ROLE
- Contribute to shaping Adhesive Technologies’ sustainability strategy by accelerating product safety as a key differentiator
- Transform product safety from a compliance factor into a competitive advantage by fostering a mindset of responsible chemistry use
- Maintain and enhance the integrity of the responsible chemistry framework, driving data quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with business units to identify high-impact levers, derive actionable solutions, and prioritize concrete initiatives
- Act as a key expert in technology and business roadmap development, focusing on the responsible use of chemistry
- Provide expertise on chemical safety, sustainability impacts, regulatory aspects, and business implications along the value chain
- Represent Henkel externally with customers and stakeholders, as well as internally, to improve sustainability expertise, performance, and reputation
YOUR SKILLS
- Master's degree, ideally with a PhD, in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience leading multi-stakeholder projects in the chemical industry or regulatory environment, with a focus on sustainability
- Expertise in product safety, regulatory affairs, product development, and/or chemical plant operations
- Strong understanding of the complexity of products, technologies, and formulations
- Ability to align detailed expertise with broader global strategy
- Excellent communication skills with a strategic and analytical mindset
- Proven project management skills and a passion for driving change and challenging the status quo
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
