Amazon Ads is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs. Our Adapt team is expanding globally and this will be our first manager role in Germany. Unlike other teams, employees in Adapt are agile, rotating around teams on assignments to address business critical needs. Individuals on the team benefit from exposure to many different teams and roles within Amazon Ads, accelerating their learning and development.

Adapt is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our Germany team and manage 8 Adapt Account Executives. Adapt Sales Managers impact the business by leading a team of Adapt sellers who rotate across verticals, products and roles, and enjoy high-velocity exposure across the organisation and customers. From Day 1, Adapt Managers must use their experience to coach and develop team members, earn trust with senior sales leaders in the local team, and lead global projects that drive the Adapt program forward. Adapt Managers are decisive, knowledgeable, and use high judgement to be right a lot.

Key job responsibilities
* Provide seamless support to senior sales leaders in region, ensuring continuity and effectiveness in Adapt coverage operations
* Coach and develop a team of high-performing Account Executives, ensuring you continue to raise the performance bar on the team
* Lead and deliver ambiguous projects that improve the operations of the Adapt program globally
* Be an active participant on the global Adapt leadership team, maintaining close relationships with manager peers in other regions
* Closely monitor sales and role performance on the team, identifying and addressing blind spots quickly
* Build a strong inter-connected team culture, especially important on a team like Adapt where employees are working on separate teams
* Implement and lead a business review cadence with senior sales leaders in-region

About the team
Amazon Adapt is a program designed to offer coverage solutions for business gaps which may occur due to extended leave (parental, medical) and unexpected account transitions or gaps in business needs. Amazon Adapt deploys highly skilled, hyper-agile talent that ensures customers can continue to invest in their partnerships with Amazon Advertising, uninterrupted. The program ensures that the high bar for customer service, strategic partnership, and revenue attainment is maintained during these coverage gaps.

This role can be hired as a remote role.

GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN

Significant large customer or agency sales experience
Experience coaching/leading senior sales executives who generate revenue across diverse budget sources
Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem and ad technology to identify how Amazon Ads solutions help customers reach their marketing goals
Able to effectively and confidently communicate and influence senior stakeholders (VP & C-level clients) and quickly foster trusting relationships
Excellent analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
Excellent project management, written and verbal communication skills
