As part of the core of Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Banking Division, Institutional Cash and Trade (ICT) is the market leader and number 1 Euro Clearer offering first class correspondent banking services to financial institutions such as cross border payments, FX solutions, liquidity management and trade advisory. Our clients are predominantly the top commercial and central banks across the world. We are a global, highly profitable business covering financial institutions on all continents of the world. Our international teams are in >20 countries and cover clients in ~120 countries. We process almost 1,000bn EUR value of international payments every day. Within ICT, the Liquidity Solutions team is defining the strategic development, positioning and delivery of liquidity and deposit solutions for financial institutions and central banks. The team is dedicated to build a value proposition by listening to clients and through active partnership with main stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities
Managing client interactions, offer pricing and negotiate transactions within a given pricing framework
Execution and booking of trades, ensuring accuracy, compliance and proper documentation and oversee post-trade processes, reconciliations, and client follow-ups
Support product development by providing insights from client interactions
Maintaining and enhancing MIS reporting, tracking portfolio performance and identify opportunities for growth
Collaboration with internal teams, including Sales, Risk and Operations, to ensure seamless trade execution
You will contribute to broader team initiatives within the Liquidity Solutions team, engaging in cross-functional projects with perspectives to cover a Sales region holistically in the future
Your skills and experiences
University degree or similar and significant professional experience.
Deep understanding of the correspondent banking business, including cash management, liquidity solutions, and payment flows – ideally in the institutional client business
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
Highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to collaborate across different teams and functions within the organization
Experience in relevant platforms (e.g. Bloomberg) preferred
Expertise in MIS-reporting, data analysis, and performance tracking to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Excellent English language skills, fluent German would be appreciated and other language skills are an advantage
