The project you will be working on

One of the core functionalities of any bank is the ability to make payments. Deutsche Bank offers many options to make payments to your own account, payment to another payment in your country, or a payment to the other side of the world, in another currency and another banking system. From users who make payments daily for every-day transactions to one-of a kind transaction with large sums and several safety measures.

With this wide offering it is fundamental that the products understand the user and support in the best way possible. Design is a key part in bringing a product to the market that satisfies user needs and creating elegant solutions that cover the complex world of payments.

Join as Lead Product Design in the Corporate Bank’s Payment Initiation team to work on the next version of features creating, reviewing, maintaining, reporting, archiving, controlling a payments for clients around the world.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a project team through the discovery, design, development and delivery processes while identifying continuous improvement opportunities. 

• Run workshop/walkthrough sessions using Design Sprint and Design Thinking methodologies. 

• Perform project specific design reviews using accepted heuristics. 

• Constantly push for a user-centred approach while delivering to business requirements. 

• Design user-friendly, accessible, best practice and pixel-perfect mobile-first applications for web and devices (iOS, Android, responsive web and WCAG 2.2 AA standards) 

• Work with development to review and deliver applications. 

Your skills and experiences

• Strong relevant professional working experience. 

• Bachelor’s degree in information or interaction design, communication design or studies in a comparable subject. 

• A broad and comprehensive knowledge in user experience and user interface design supported by a portfolio of case studies (please provide this) 

• Previous experience in designing complicated enterprise-level workflows. 

• Expertise in the following applications: 

• Figma 

• Adobe Creative Cloud
