Your tasks
- Take responsibility, within the scope of global hydropower plant projects, for handling electrotechnical systems; these include switchgear for low, medium and high voltage, transformers, generator feeders, DC power supply, electrical measuring and protection systems, grounding systems and for auxiliary power supply.
- Design and prepare system engineering for the electrical equipment of power plant projects (e. g. specifications, plans, calculations, interface definition, documentation and quality documents).
- Review, clarify interface and integrate the detailed or component engineering of system suppliers and planning offices into the overall plan of the power plant.
- Monitor cost budgets and deadlines as well as support the sales department (in preparing quotations and in negotiations with our customers) and the installation department (for example by means of installation guidelines).
- Be involved in plant acceptances at suppliers, customer meetings and on-site meetings worldwide.
Your profile
- Degree in electrical or power engineering with several years of professional experience in power plant construction or switchgear construction.
- Experienced in the use of CAE/CAD systems for electrical planning as well as in the handling of complex technical systems and are familiar with the preparation of technical specifications.
- Experience in the field of high voltage (AIS, GIS) or medium voltage (switchgear, converters) is desirable.
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English (also in the technical field), further foreign language skills are advantageous.
- Looking forward to an intercultural cooperation in an internationally oriented company.
