Payments

Payments is a core product for Cash Management and one of the growth areas in Deutsche Bank’s strategy. In order to support the growth ambitions and to remain a leading global player in the competitive payments market, significant investment in the payment infrastructure of Deutsche Bank area applied. The changes must support market dynamics – changing market infrastructures, evolving client demand and increasing competition – and must address the Bank’s existing infrastructure complexity. The foundation to this investment is a target state architecture for the end-to-end payment process.

As a Lead Business Functional Analyst (f/m/x) you will work closely with business and technical leads and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with client needs on the very early stage of shaping the demand. You will facilitate and coordinate business as well as market and audit requirements detailed analysis. You will prepare solution design considering Payments domain architectural principles and create clear end-to-end flow picture of business-critical solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Clarification and assessment of business, regulatory, audit and market requirements in collaboration with Business stakeholders.
• Preparing solution design for complex business requirements involving many applications in the processing chain and building clear end-to-end picture of the impacted payments processing flow.
• Develop Functional Specifications in close collaboration with the team of Business Analysts, Application Owners and Solution Architects and providing solutions aligned with both business needs and architecture guidelines.
• Full ownership of delivered functionality front to back and from start to finish.
• Coordinating end-to-end testing involving users, operations, and testing teams with preparation of test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing between different applications, when required. Work with Application Developers to resolve major functional issues found during user acceptance testing (UATs).
• Working on the continuous improvements of internal processes of requirements analysis in the team and driving the automation of requirements documenting.
