Johnson & Johnson Medical GmbH is recruiting for a (Junior) Demand Planner MedTech, located in Hamburg, Germany. 


What you will be doing:

What impact will you also have:

We are looking to strengthen our E2E Supply Chain team in Hamburg. Our new planner will help us drive our capabilities to the next level and ensure best-in-class service for our patients, doctors and customers.

In your day-to-day job you will:

  • Lead the monthly IBP meetings for respective Business Units, and build the most accurate demand plan, incorporating risks, opportunities, tender scenarios, new product introductions, end of live planning etc.
  • Represent Germany with the EMEA regional planning to proactively call out and mitigate supply risks and acquire supply feedback
  • Coordinate with demand execution function to ensure demand plan will be implemented in timely and accurate manner
  • Review, monitor and report monthly critical metrics (forecast accuracy, OTIF, backorder value, CAPEX and Inventory, investment efficiency and instrument redeployment). Conduct root cause analysis on deviations. Develop action plans with clear responsibilities to drive performance improvement.
  • Actively participate and support budget planning and set yearly optimization targets in alignment with Demand Planning Manager, Finance and Commercial teams
  • Analyze and give recommendations on inventory, as well as orthopedic/surgical sets utilization and redeployment opportunities whenever applicable. Agree on implementation plans, drive actions and follow up on execution.
  • Coordinating the deployment orthopedic instruments / implants kit according to cutomer requirements.
  • Ensure that specific portfolio knowledge, such as innovation, regulatory restrictions, discontinuation of products, or tenders is shared in our end-to-end supply chain teams and with cross-functional partners
  • Participate and take lead in agreed supply chain projects
  • Drive continuous improvement in our processes and tools
  • Build productive relations with other relevant departments across the organization
  • Apply credo values in an open and ethical manner

QUALIFICATIONS
We would love to hear from you, if you have the following essential requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, economics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience within supply chain related tasks, including analytical work and influencing decision making.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with high motivation and strong sense of responsibility in addressing the tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Outstanding ability to establish relationship with partners across a diverse set of backgrounds and at all hierarchical levels.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerBI. IT savviness and further analytics software is a plus.
  • Financial awareness and good numerical skills
  • Strong customer focus for internal and external customers
  • Good project management skills
  • Proactive working style
  • Language requirements – German and English are required
  • Position can be also based in Umkirch, Germany
