(Junior) Accountant

• Receiving and processing accounting documents in accordance with procedures, general accounting principles, chart of accounts, cost center structures, and country-specific work instructions
• Checking or obtaining necessary authorizations
• Initiating creation/changes of vendor master data

• Managing communication with customers and business partners, providing necessary documentation, reports and analysis
• Proactively supervising and reconciling the accounts to clarify open items in pending or current accounts
• Monitoring discrepancies between the expected cost positions and the incoming invoices, proactively initiating corrections in internal IT System or suppliers debit notes
• Monitoring statuses of own open cases
• Providing Information to the respective finance department or airport management teams (unpaid receivables, open items that could not be clarified etc.)
• Estimating and settling accruals and provisions for invoices
• Ensuring the service level for timeliness and accuracy of accounting data processing is maintained
