- Collaborate with colleagues to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholder needs
- Design back-end and front-end web-based software or customize software for client use
- Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle
- Perform user story implementation, bug tracking & bug fixing of scalable and highly available software components
- Perform code reviews (merge reviews) to ensure quality and maintain the performance of deployed solutions
- Conduct ticket analysis and log file analysis
- Identify issues and perform workaround definition, if possible
- Inform the client about changes in the system or explain existing features of the application
Must have:
- 5 years of overall software engineering experience in a Java environment
- Strong experience with Back End technologies such as Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Rest, Spring Security, Hibernate, Swagger or Apache Kafka
- Strong experience with Front End technologies such as Angular, Typescript, Redux
- Strong experience working with cross-functional teams
- A good understanding of design patterns, application architecture and experience working within a technical delivery team
- Experience with REST full API design
- Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle, NoSQL, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
- A thirst for writing clean and maintainable code and a drive for improving the quality of existing code whenever possible
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline is an advantage
