IT Application Owner / Release Manager - sDDA

Payment & Cash Management IT is running a number of large-scale transformation projects in the areas of Payments, Core Banking and Liquidity Management. The projects involve renovation of the application landscape, building modular architecture, delivering new products and services, and creating foundation for new business/revenue models.
We are looking for a new member of the team with exceptional project management and communication skills who can take a challenge of being an IT Application Owner and Release Manager for a growing number of services and squads.
Your key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and manage all release activities, ensuring timely and successful software delivery
Prepare and maintain release artefacts, including release implementation plans, checklist and rollout strategies.
Improve and standardise release management processes in team
Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps and BA teams to ensure smooth release deployment
Automate release processes to reduce manual efforts
Maintain release calendars, communicate release schedules and manage dependencies across teams
Conduct post-release reviews and drive continuous improvements based on findings and lessons learned
Ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the application including management of scope.
Ensuring that the changes to the applications in scope are fully aligned DB standards and regulations. The main focus is to guarantee the system stability.
Efficiently engage, manage and influence the main stakeholders, along with the related emerging risks and opportunities.
Ensuring policy-compliance for the application. Facilitating and contributing to the audit activities.
Managing software licenses, security certificates and contracts with service providers.
Your skills and experiences
IT Service Management, IT Governance or IT Project Management background.
Excellent coordination and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple releases simultaneously
Strong understanding of release management processes
Project management or application owner experience.
Ability to automate routine tasks with enterprise tools and programming languages
ITAO will typically have a rather limited technical hands on involvement. A high-level understanding on the products/technologies below is welcomed:
Databases: mainly Oracle
Management of security certificates.
Unix servers administration
Microservices and SOA
Communication and encryption protocols (mainly HTTP(S), SSL)
Networking (firewalls, load balancers, etc)
High Availability Architecture
Public cloud experience (preferably GCP)
