Internship Innovation for Medical Devices (f/m/x) Your Role ZEISS Meditec is seeking a tech-enthusiastic student to join our group Microsurgical Applications in Advanced Development. This role involves shaping proof-of-principle demonstrators for next-generation healthcare products. During your internship, you will: Investigate existing solutions, understand unmet needs, and identify pain points in modern operating rooms Work within a project team to develop new features for next-generation surgical microscopes build innovative prototypes and conduct experiments Document, analyze, and present experiment results Build proof-of-principle demonstrators and test your solutions with clinical partners     Your Profile Enrolled in a bachelor/ master program in physics, optics, medical technology, mechanical engineering or comparable Excellent problem-solving, communication and innovation skills Knowledge in the field of fluorescence imaging and spectral imaging are preferred Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work on versatile topics Programming knowledge in Python or MATLAB preferred Very good English skills Mandatory internship from University   Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Laura Steininger, Trami Le
