Internship for Battery Data Analysis and Lab Automation (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are looking for a dedicated intern to assist us in analyzing battery data and help enhance our analytical tools for lab automation purposes.

• First of all you will collaborate with our scientists and lab technicians (in-person in the laboratories) to define requirements and optimization potentials.
• You will develop and refine Python scripts for analyzing battery data as well as implement automated documentation for the developed scripts and results.
• Moreover, you analyze and interpret measurement data to identify trends and patterns.
• You will implement statistical and machine-learning methods to improve data quality and assist in creating presentations as well as reports to present findings.
• In addition, you will write automated unit and integration tests to test different analytical methods.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• ongoing studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• strong knowledge of Python particularly in data analysis (e.g., with Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
• good programming knowledge with writing unit and integration tests using pytest
• familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker with CI/CD automation is a plus
• good command of both German and English, spoken and written
• independent and structured work approach, as well as teamwork skills
