The MTU Heat Transfer group is looking for someone to join this team. The software is based on Microsoft’s Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)- Excel. Outstanding tasks include software specification, design, development, testing and troubleshooting. With today’s marketplace pressures driving Aero Engine Manufactures to deliver increasingly more advanced/efficient technologies, there has never been a greater need for intelligent engineering tools capable of efficiently visualizing and analyzing complex systems.
- Assist in developing algorithms for gas turbine engine analysis and visualization software
- Collaborate with the team to debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and methodologies relevant to engine analysis
- Create documentation for software modules and user guides
- Support in the testing and validation of software functionalities
- Strong problem solving, organizational and programming skills
- Be able to work independently and take initiatives
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
- Good documentation skills a must
- Additionally, knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic and/or other programming languages will be a definite advantage
- Good command of English
- Good spatial, human-factors and artistic sensibilities also a plus
