Position overview

  • The Intern, Porsche Driving Programs supports Manager, PTX and Driving programs in [2] business units within the PCNA Marketing department; Porsche Track Experience (PTX), Porsche Travel Experience (PTE). The focus will be on invoice processing and creating Purchase Requisitions to generate Purchase Orders, managing Purchase Orders, forecasting and accruals. Also, routing and tracking of RFAs and Contracts for signatures, support with Budgets, Events, Procurement, Vehicle Fleet Management and Marketing. This position will assist with program sales and communications platforms; liaise with key stakeholders including relevant PCNA departments, vendors and tracks. This intern position assists the manager in pursuing greater efficiencies, revenue capture and profitability. This is a 6-month internship.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Financial tracking for PTX and PTE– Invoices, Purchase Orders, Budget Tracking
  • Marketing Operations – Collateral, Material Ordering, Social Media
  • Logistics Support – Fleet management and coordination
  • Finance - creating and monitoring RFA process for overall project scope reduce project costs for profitability, Develop P/L projections based on revenue
  • Support PTX Manager through program advertising, working with the Porsche Enthusiast Network (in-house creative team) on collateral (digital and physical collateral), creating PTX & PTE advertising for Panorama magazine.
  • Logistics support; manage the PTX Fleet for incoming and outgoing vehicles and accommodating required logistics and updates due to arrivals and/or production delays.
  • Event Planning; relevant support for PCNA National events like Porsche Parade, Porsche Rennsport, or Amelia Island Concours (Werks Reunion).

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Finance background strongly preferred; experience with invoicing, processing, and payment systems.

Schedule/Shift: 5 days/week. 2 in-office days, 3 remote days. Ability to come in-office additional days when needed.

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
