Intern (m/f/d) for GEO-Land Degradation Neutrality

During your internship you will have the following tasks, among others:

• Contribute to the creation of knowledge products, such as recommendations for the UNCCD and the development of BMZ factsheets as well as country-specific factsheets in collaboration with relevant partners
• Support internal and external communication for the GEO-LDN Secretariat: gathering and organizing relevant content, creating content, maintaining the website, and producing newsletters and social media posts (experience with WordPress is a plus)
• Assistance in developing a new sitemap for the GEO-LDN website
• Systematic monitoring of social media posts from relevant partners as well as other GEO initiatives and flagship projects
  
  Help maintain customer relationship management database (CRM)
  
  Support ad-hoc tasks required for the GEO LDN Flagship.
  
  Independently plan, coordinate and execute a work process to be defined with the team lead.

• You study from the sixth semester in Education, Social Science, International Relations, Political Science, Geography or another relevant discipline
• You are a strategic thinker who can support in creating knowledge products. Basic understanding of learning theories is a plus
• You are open to learning new systems like tools for database and knowledge management
• You are motivated, a team player and flexible. Your way of working is organized, independent, systematic, detail- and result-oriented and you implement creative ideas in an agile, fast and productive way
• You have a good feel for languages, have a very good command of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of the common MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) is a prerequisite. Knowledge in Wordpress or a similar CMS is a plus
