About the area / team
Trade Finance is responsible for the advising, distributing and processing of services in foreign trade. We are "Best Trade Finance Service Provider 2023" (Euromoney) and number 1 in Germany and multiple countries. Our goal is to maintain, develop and expand this outstanding position. Your tasks
Disciplinary leadership, development of a team and appropriate responsibility to ensure quality of service
Responsibility of an individual customer portfolio with very complex, global structures. Single point of contact for the customer around trade finance flow products (one face to the customer/single point of contact) as well as responsibility for group and corporate customers with great revenue potential in the product categories of documentary business, guarantees and working capital solutions as well as marketing of our digital access channels
Conduct solution-oriented discussions with customers on our compliance requirements and ensure the execution and escalation of transaction monitoring on the transaction, if necessary
Understanding of customer needs in order to guarantee comprehensive advice in trade finance flow products, development of sales approaches and acquisition of new mandates for our cooperation partners as well as development and implementation of specialist workshops tailored to the respective customer (virtual and local customer)
Overall responsibility for the successful transaction processing, in particular in our RTM Center of Excellence and the processing center in India responsible for operational execution (Delivery Hub India)
Responsible for compliance with all non-financial risk controls, including coordination and escalation processes and identification of improvement opportunities in current and future transaction processing
Guidance and further development of colleagues in the team with smaller professional competence and customer advice expertise
Your skills and experience
Completed studies in business administration, several years of expertise as a bank clerk or comparable qualification
Very pronounced, several years of experience in the area of trade finance and in advising corporate clients
A high degree of open-mindedness to new challenges, assertiveness and impressive commitment, resilience and the ability to take on issues on own responsibility and to accompany various challenges in parallel with appropriate prioritization
Proactive, independent and structured working in cross-functional, intercultural teams across hierarchies, regions and time zones
Open-mindedness and ability to share information, expertise, knowhow and competence within the team
Fluent and professional verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of German or at least one other language is an advantage
