BESCHREIBUNG

Are you an aspiring frontend developer eager to kickstart your career in building exceptional user experiences? Join our dynamic team as we reimagine application development using innovative Amazon AI services. We're seeking enthusiastic junior frontend engineers to contribute to creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that empower people from diverse backgrounds to create applications effortlessly. If you're passionate about learning, collaborating with experienced developers, and staying up-to-date with the latest web technologies, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities
1. User Interface Development: Participate in designing, implementing, and optimizing responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks and libraries, under the guidance of senior engineers.

2. Component Development: Contribute to the development of reusable and modular UI components, following established best practices and design systems.

3. Learning and Growth: Actively seek opportunities to expand your frontend skills, learn from senior team members, and contribute to coding best practices.

4. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into seamless user experiences.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in writing unit and integration tests, code reviews, and contribute to ensuring high-quality standards for the frontend codebase.

A day in the life
* Mentorship and Support: Our experienced frontend engineers will provide guidance, mentorship, and support to help you grow and develop your skills.

* Exposure to Modern Technologies: You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest frontend frameworks, libraries, and tools, staying up-to-date with the ever-evolving web ecosystem.

* Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to gain experience in creating cohesive and delightful user experiences.

* Continuous Learning: We invest in the growth of every team member by providing mentorship, training resources, and opportunities to learn from experienced engineers.

* Flexible Work Environment: Our Berlin-based team works in a flexible hybrid setup, with a mix of in-office and remote days, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

About the team
You'll join the team responsible for PartyRock, where we use AI to reimagine the builder experience for our customers.
